The Forte Manifesto

Workers do the donkey work.
Humans do the art.

Audio and video run on talent and taste, and on hours of work around them. Braus hands that work to workers, in the apps you already use.

Why workers

Five ideas behind Braus.

  1. Thesis one

    The craft is the point.

Nobody got into audio or video to import stems or render versions. Mixing and editing are taste and instinct. The work around them is overhead, and overhead is a job for a worker.

  2. Thesis two

    A colleague with a job.

Not an assistant and not a chat. A worker has a name, a role and a brief: the app, the result, where to stop. It does the job inside your app and comes back with it done.

  3. Thesis three

    More hands, same desk.

Add a worker for each job. They work at the same time, each in its own app, in the background, while you keep working on yours. Your cursor stays yours.

  4. Thesis four

In the apps you already use.

An agent should work in the software you rely on, not ask you to replace it. A worker reads each window and uses its controls, even in apps without an API, and every job teaches Braus more about the app.

  5. Thesis five

    The last word is yours.

A worker checks each step and tells you what it could not confirm. It won’t delete, send or quit anything without your go, and you can stop it at any time.
