Set up Braus and give your first worker a job.
Start in the Braus app, or connect Claude Code or Codex over MCP. Give the agent a small desktop task and check the result yourself.

Guides
Start
Use Braus
MCP and agents
Set up an MCP client
Braus exposes its bridge over local STDIO, so the client and Braus run on the same Mac.
Configure your client
No URL, API key, OAuth login or environment variable is needed for this bridge.
Choose capabilities
Desktop apps and Browser are selected by default when you create a grant; Passive Watcher and shared memory need an explicit selection.
Test the MCP connection
Confirm that the client actually calls Braus’ tools and returns their results.
Several clients, stopping access
Each Braus grant accepts one active connection at a time, including connections opened for tool discovery.
Troubleshoot an MCP client
Braus must be running, the grant enabled and the connection-file path correct.
Technology
Background
A worker uses apps on a display of its own, off your screen, while you keep using your Mac.
Perception
Perception turns an observed window into structured context for an agent.
Memory & Brain
Memory stores what the engine learned about how an app works.
Architecture
The engine reads the window as text, acts on the seat and verifies the effect.
